KnightRiders emerge victorious in a classic low-scoring thriller.

EllonCC wilted under pressure as 1st KnightRiders edged home by ten runs in a classic low-scoring thriller in Ellon Gordon Park on Saturday.

Captain S.White won the toss and elected to bowl .A good decision as KnightRiders could only manage 54(all out) from 28.1 overs as A.Parks took a 5-10 & S.White too 3-7. Somu was the top scorer with 15 runs & Opener Gopinathan scoring 11 runs.Defending a low total was never a easy task but KnightRiders bowlers hit back quickly to dismiss top 3 Ellon batsmen cheaply. G.Sathyamoorthy (15) then offered some resistance as he battled hard for few overs before being trapped lbw by Prashanth Mallireddy .Soon after wickets fell at regular intervals and Ellon CC were all out for 44 runs. 

Prashanth Mallireddy  was the Knight of the day  taking 3 key wickets ,Prashanth & Somu tacking 2 wickets each.

In Grade two match 2nd Knight Riders lost to Arrowdawn Gordonians CC by 121 runs.
