All-rounder Prem Ballal the star as 2XI defeat Stonehaven.

Asked to bat first, Stonehaven made a promising start, R.Devlin and D.Cruzier putting on 41 for the first wicket.Prem Ballal made the breakthrough by dismissing D.Cruzier 21 (1x4,1x6) and later snaffled another 3 quick wickets to put Stonehaven in trouble.But R.Devlin batted very sensibly and stayed at the crease for over two hours to make 57 (7x4,2x6).Next the middle- and lower-order all chipped in with small contributions to somehow lift the team to 141 for 9 in 45 overs.

Prem was the pick of the home bowlers with figures 12-3-28-4  and was dully supported by Pacer Selladurai 12-5-13-2 who bowled some of the best deliveries of the season.

KnightRiders lost two early wickets during the chase, but Gopinathan and Balaji C stabilised the innings with a 64-run stand for the third wicket.Gopinathan scored a fantastic 48 (4x4 & 2x6) and Balaji a cool 36 (6x4) and took the team closer towards victory.
But Stonehaven star bowlers C.Findlay & C.Hinchiliffee  ripped through the visitors middle order creating panic for a short while.But experienced all rounder Prem  21 (3x4) kept a cool head while wickets tumbled at the other end and saw us home in the 40th Over.
