Match report What a game it was! A very well-fought contest, and we gave them a tough fight throughout. The game went up and down in both innings, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 🏏

There were so many positives to take from the match, and I don’t want us to think too much about what we could have done differently.

Let’s take the positives, learn from the key moments, and keep working on the negatives. πŸ’ͺ

And what a great bowling effort by Vijay na as usual β€” 8 overs for 26 runs β€” with excellent supporting spells from Dhanesh and Gauti. πŸ™Œ When I was under pressure and short of one bowler, I asked Dhanesh to step up, and he delivered exactly what the team needed. That was a really strong sign for the team. βœ…

It was also a great showing in the field by Arpit, who took two amazing catches, and Anand, who produced a couple of very important run-outs. And a great catch by Ambrose, and also he covered about 10000 steps today on the field and really amazing ground fielding tod πŸ’―πŸ’™

Balaji also bowled really well and gave the team great support. πŸ‘

There was also a bit of bad luck with Anand. I’m sure that if it wasn’t a no-ball, we could have taken it till the end, but unfortunately, that was very unlucky for us. πŸ˜”

It was a game to learn from for me as captain, too. I could have done a few things differently depending on how the game unfolded, and I’ll take those lessons into the upcoming matches. πŸ“‹
